Bio:
I started triathlons in 2006 after realizing that I didn’t actually sink in a pool. I had taken some swimming lessons because I was relearning how to sail and figured that if I was going to be capsizing, I should be a stronger swimmer. Strangely, I haven’t sailed more than twice since that time. Previously I had done a couple marathons (literally two — Seattle and Boston).
I joined TN Multisports after taking a flip turn class with Teresa. Nope, I still can’t flip, but after seeing Teresa in the pool, I wanted to take more lessons with her. Those classes have been great. Even though triathlons are a “solo” sport, I love the camaraderie of the TNM team.
My future goals include making a strong showing on an Olympic distance triathlon and to not injure myself either in training or everyday living (including skiing).
