Recently one of our TN Multisport athletes, Heather Martin, went on her final training ride before doing Ironman Lake Stevens 70.3. During her ride around Mercer Island she got into an accident with a car that caused her to fly over her handlebars and smash into the pavement.
While Heather is currently recuperating from her terrible accident, she will require many reconstructive surgeries to replace six broken/missing teeth and to rebuild her upper lip. She has insurance but it won’t cover much of the cosmetic surgery her injuries will require, which is why we’re encouraging all of our athletes, fans and friends to donate what they can to try and help support Heather so that she can afford these surgeries and flash us her beautiful smile again.

How You Can Help
You can donate money via the following options:
- Bring a check or cash to any of the TN Multisport group workouts (make checks payable to Heather Martin)
- Drop off a check at the Seattle Athletic Club or at TN Multisports
- Donate money via PayPal or ChipIn.com. Donations will get sent to me (relizkel at gmail.com) and I’ll pass funds onto Heather (no finder’s fee, I promise!)
Hopefully we can all pitch in and make life a bit easier for Heather while she recovers from her injuries. Thanks everyone!
